After-School Program

Structured Taekwondo training, homework time, and real supervision — the after-school program parents wish existed everywhere.

What your child will gain

  • Daily Taekwondo instruction
  • Structured homework time
  • Adult supervision throughout
  • Pickup-window flexibility
  • Small enrollment for real attention
  • Scheduling arranged directly with each family

The After-School program at Master Pius Martial Arts is what we wish every after-school program looked like. Kids come straight from school, change into their uniforms, get a snack and a moment to settle — then move into structured Taekwondo training, homework time, and supervised play, all under the eye of GrandMaster Pius Ilukhor and his team.

We’re not babysitting. We’re building. Every afternoon includes real Taekwondo instruction — forms, kicks, conditioning, sparring drills — taught with the same standards as our evening classes. Between training blocks, kids get help with homework, time to read or talk through their day, and the kind of structured social environment that’s hard to find anywhere else. The dojo becomes a second home: a place where the rules are clear, the adults pay attention, and the older kids set an example for the younger ones.

Schedules are arranged directly with each family — we work around school dismissal times, sibling drop-offs, and your own pickup window. Pricing and the exact daily structure are best discussed in person or by phone, because every family’s situation is a little different. We keep enrollment small so every child gets real attention.

If you’ve ever picked your kid up from an after-school program and felt like the day was just survived, not used, come see what After-School at MPMA looks like. Call to arrange a visit.

What parents say

"Master Pius Martial Arts is not only the leading Taekwondo school in the Sandy Springs area but also a staple in the community. This school inspires its students to reach their highest potential and make real friends while enjoying a sport that teaches fitness, technique, and agility. Taekwondo is not just a sport here — it is a way of life, and the kids learn the five tenets: etiquette, modesty, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit."

— Adaeze

"Master Pius is the best place I ever took my kids. The discipline, the manners, the respect — and the kids have fun. If you want a place where your child learns good manners and real respect, take them to Master Pius. You will never regret it. Best martial arts school we've found."

— Damaris
