What a traditional class gives you
Every class follows the same rhythm: a formal bow, a real warm-up, then kicks, blocks, forms and sparring drills taught in clear steps. That structure is the point. Kids learn to listen, wait their turn and push through when something gets hard. Adults get a full hour where the rest of the day can’t follow them in.
The five tenets of Taekwondo (courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit) aren’t just written on the wall. They’re how class runs, and they’re habits that come home with you.
For kids who need focus, and adults who want a challenge
For kids, Taekwondo builds what parents tell us they want most: focus, confidence, respect and the discipline to keep going when something gets hard. Children move up in rank when they’re ready, and the standards are clear from day one.
For adults, it’s a full-body workout and a practical skill in a single hour. You don’t need to be in shape to start. Classes meet you where you are, and you follow the same traditional path as everyone else on the mat.
One-on-one private lessons
If your child finds it hard to focus in a group, private lessons give them GrandMaster Pius’s full attention. He has worked with many children with autism, ADHD and Down syndrome. Private lessons also let adults who can’t make the regular class times keep working toward a black belt. Your first private lesson is free. Lessons run mainly on weekends, with weekday mornings and evenings after 8:00 PM by arrangement. Call him directly at (404) 449-6526 to set one up.
