Grand Master Pius Ilukhor
Master Pius Ilukhor is an esteemed 8th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo from Kukkiwon and a 2011 Taekwondo Hall of Fame inductee.
He has directed the Atlanta Open International Championships and serves as Kukkiwon Seoul Korea & African Continental Director.
He is a first class Master Instructor and first class Examiner by the WTA (world taekwondo academy).
A five-time national champion in Canada and Nigeria, he won the All African Games Taekwondo Heavyweight Championship and Best Player Trophy in 1987.
Since 1980, he has been an International Taekwondo Instructor, Historian, and Philosopher.
Master Ilukhor holds degrees in Physical Education and Electronics Engineering.
His martial arts journey began in Nigeria in 1975, leading him to train under Master Aikpa Aime.
Recognized for his exceptional dedication, he earned his Black Belt verification from Kukkiwon in 1980. He is the founder of Master Pius Martial Arts, Inc.
School's story
Masterpius Martial Arts has been a part of the Roswell area, primarily through its location in Sandy Springs, since its founding in 2004 by Master Pius Ilukhor.
Master Pius brings an exceptional level of expertise and recognition to the school, holding an 8th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, having taught for over four decades, and being inducted into both the Kukkiwon Hall of Fame and the Taekwondo World Hall of Fame.
His significant contributions to Taekwondo, including being a founding father of the art in Nigeria and a former All Africa Heavyweight Champion, underscore his deep understanding and passion for the discipline.
The school's mission centers on empowering individuals through traditional Taekwondo training, emphasizing not only physical prowess but also character development through the five tenets of Taekwondo.
